In this interactive poem, the reader/character builds, or rather discovers, their own experience as they move through the words on screen and what thoughts, emotions, and questions those words instinctually elicit in their mind and body. As the reader/character, you become trapped in a poetic experience, part of something just barely intangible. Though perhaps not immediately understanding the words, you learn to feel their understanding and follow your impulses by moving along word-pathways into the story space. An early experiment with interactive storytelling (in an Intro to Digital Arts class with Mary Flanagan), this project tugs at the boundaries between physical, mental, and digital experiential spaces.
